Three Chimneys Inn

As I am the official Celebrant for Three Chimneys Inn, you’ll see quite a few posts where I perform ceremonies there. It’s all good, since I love the place. Saturday, I married a couple in the lower garden. It was a beautiful day – a bit on the warm side for September, but not oppressively so. The ceremony featured two readings – one by three bridesmaids (a group effort), and another by a friend of the bride and groom. The couple wrote their own vows and read them off index cards. All-in-all, a wonderful wedding! Best wishes Wes & Kary!

Three Chimneys Inn

Another great ceremony at the Inn on Saturday. This wedding featured a string trio, along with the traditional Breaking of the Glass ritual at the end of the ceremony. After the ceremony was done, all of the guests stuck around in the Upper Garden for a group photo. Congratulations Jodi & Jay!

Foster’s Downeast Clambake, York, Maine

It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon for a wedding at the Clambake. There were about 130 guests, all of whom heard every word of the ceremony because the DJ provided a great lavaliere mic. Nice place for a ceremony, and the event coordination was outstanding. Best wishes Jenna & Brian!

York Golf & Tennis Club

Spent Friday afternoon here for a small, intimate wedding ceremony. The weather was cool and windy, but pleasant. I performed a spiritual ceremony for the couple. Congratulations Elizabeth & Chris!

Black Swan Country Club, Georgetown, MA

Narrowly escaped the rain in the ceremony here Saturday. The couple had 18 honor attendants and the ceremony went very smoothly. I had been looking forward to performing a ceremony here ever since I attended my cousin’s wedding here a few years ago, and I finally got the chance – thanks Nick & Kerriann, and best wishes for the future!

Holy Grail, Epping NH

Performed my first wedding at this venue. Great place! You can find out more about it at my website. In addition to performing the ceremony, we provided the music – the song for the bridesmaids and bride were different versions of the Canon in D, while the recessional song was “Can’t Help Falling in Love” by Elvis Presley. The ring bearer was very active (but he did great during the ceremony), and the flower girl was a cutie! Best wishes to Justin & Kendra!

California Room, Hudson, NH

First wedding I’ve performed at the California Room. The couple was wed in front of a small gathering of family and friends. When I got there they were still in the process of decorating the room, so I pitched in and helped with some of the decorations. Congrats Cheryl & Robert!

Brian & Lucy

Presided over a vow renewal ceremony in Derry, NH on Saturday. It was a nice gathering with family and friends. The bride wore her original wedding dress. It was raining with some thunder, and the couple told me the weather on their wedding day was similar, as they were wed during Hurricane Hugo! Happy 25th Lucy & Brian!
