Married a great couple in a Classic Wedding Ceremony here on Friday. The ceremony included personal vows and a very lively wedding party! Color was burgundy. Congrats Matt & Kelsey!

Married a terrific couple here in front of a couple of witnesses on Friday. The Best Man presented the rings to the bride and groom on the stem of a mini-pumpkin gourd – very cool. The Fort has several areas that might be suitable for a wedding, and the couple had found two places – one outside and one inside, for their wedding site. Luckily, despite a few spotty showers, the rain held off enough to do the ceremony outside. Colors were burgundy, orange, and purple. All the best Dylan & Julianna!

Presided over a quick elopement ceremony for a nice couple by the artist’s easel at Great Island Common. Took a few pictures of the couple with the ocean in the background after the ceremony. Best Wishes Billy and Adele!

Married a great couple in a Classic Wedding Ceremony at the Inn on Saturday. It was a cool, cloudy day, but we managed to dodge the raindrops. The guests were very into the entire ceremony – it was a fun wedding! Colors were blush and gold. Congrats Saul & Debra!

Performed a Custom Wedding Ceremony for a wonderful couple on Saturday and helped coordinate the rehearsal on Friday at the Inn. The ceremony featured a reading, and both personalized and traditional vows. Colors were navy blue, gold, and blush. Best Wishes, Brittany & Steven!

Married a wonderful couple this past Friday in a Classic Spiritual Ceremony at Castleton. Originally slated to take place outside by the lake, Mother Nature had other ideas, and we ended up outside on the covered patio due to rain. The ceremony featured a lovely Sand Ceremony and some really cute kids in the processional! All went smoothly and, as they say, rain on your wedding day is good luck! Colors were turquoise blue and wisteria purple. Best of luck, Kenny & Kim!

Performed a Custom Ceremony for a great couple this past Saturday at the Inn. The bride and groom chose to stand on the millstone in the lower garden as opposed to where ceremonies usually take place at the base of the stairs. It went great! There was a small shower in the middle of the ceremony, but it was certainly not enough to dampen the spirit of the couple or the ceremony. Best of luck, Matt & Kelsey!

Married a fantastic couple at the Country Club this past Friday. The Custom Spiritual Ceremony included an Affirmation where the guests pledged their support to the newly married couple. Colors were dusty blue, peach, ivory and grey. The ceremony was wonderfully coordinated by the Country Club – as usual. Best wishes, Paul & Michelle!
