Victoria Inn, Hampton, NH

Wed a couple with a Classic Wedding Ceremony in front of about 50 guests at the Inn on Sunday afternoon. As the couple was about to declare their consent, an uninvited guest appeared!… a chipmunk. The little guy ran up the aisle toward us, realized that this was a wedding :), and skedaddled out of there as fast as he could! The rest of the wedding continued without any other wedding crashers. Colors were burgundy, blush, ivory, and orange. Best wishes Ryan & Amber!

Groveland Fairways, Groveland, MA

Performed a Classic Wedding Ceremony for a great couple in front of about 100 guests at the Fairways on Sunday. The ceremony included a sand ceremony. Colors were navy blue and orange. Here are the words to the sand ceremony…

“Steve and Missy, you have just sealed your relationship
by the giving and receiving of rings,
and this covenant is a relationship pledge between two people
who agree that they will commit themselves to one another
throughout their lives.
The most beautiful example of this partnership is the marriage relationship.
You have committed here today to share the rest of your lives with each other. Today, this relationship is symbolized
through the pouring of these two individual containers of sand into one
one representing you, Stephen and all that you were, all that you are,
and all that you will ever be,
and the other representing you, Melissa, and all that you were
and all that you are, and all that you will ever be.
As these two containers of sand are poured into the third container,
the individual containers of sand will no longer exist,
but will be joined together as one…

[Bride and Groom pour sand into center container]

Just as these grains of sand
can never be separated and poured again into their individual containers,
so will your marriage be.”

All the best Missy and Steve!

Three Chimneys Inn, Durham, NH

Wed a great couple in a Classic Wedding Ceremony in front of about 80 guests in the Lower Garden at Three Chimneys Inn in Durham on Saturday afternoon. The ceremony included a ring warming and personalized vows. Here are the words to the ring warming…

“Before we begin our ceremony, I’d just like to announce that

we will all be participating in a ring warming service.

Zach and Jo’s Wedding Rings are going to be passed to each of you

as the ceremony takes place.

When the rings are passed to you, “warm” them

by holding them in your hands for a moment

and offer a silent prayer, blessing, or spiritual sentiment,

wishing Jo and Zach health, happiness, and a wonderful future together.

Then pass the rings to the person next to you.

Our goal is to for them to make it back up here to the Mother of The Bride.

When returned, these rings will contain in their precious metals

your love and pledge of support for their union.

And Zach and Jo will from this day forward be wearing their rings

knowing that their loved ones had prayed for their wellbeing

and the success of their marriage,

and that those blessings are contained in their rings.”

All the Best Jo & Zach!

Epping, NH

Presided over a Lite Wedding Ceremony for a nice couple in Epping this past Saturday morning. Included was a phrase I don’t ordinarily use… “If anyone has any objections, please speak now or forever hold your peace.” Someone did speak, but it was not an objection, and was part of a prank the couple was playing on a guest. In any case, all’s well that ends well! Congrats Amy & Stephen!
