Just prior to being out of the office last week, I presided over two elopement weddings at the Conservation Area. Both were on Friday the 9th, and both were held in the rain. In fact, the groom for the second wedding ended up being nice enough to hold an umbrella over the heads of the first couple, so they could keep dry during their vows! Now, by the time the second wedding began, a thunderstorm was directly overhead, and it was pouring. Regardless, beside having a difficult time keeping the paperwork dry, both ceremonies were perfect. If it’s true that rain on your wedding day means good luck, then these couples will have very lucky marriages! All the Best B & L, and W & C!
