Fort Foster, Kittery Maine

Performed a Vow Renewal for a great couple last Friday at Fort Foster in Kittery. They recited special vows for each other, and, instead of the traditional ring exchange, they exchanged a necklace and flower. Despite the fact that it was pretty cold and breezy, the couple jumped into the ocean after the ceremony – brave souls! Congrats Doris & David!

Greeley Park, Nashua

It was a beautiful day for a wedding in Greeley Park in Nashua yesterday. The couple and a few good friends and family assembled in the gazebo for a short but sweet wedding ceremony. Best of luck Jeff and Kim!

Dell-Lea Country Club, Chichester

Performed a wedding this past Saturday at Dell-Lea in Chichester. Unfortunately, I was ill with fever so I had to minimize my exposure to everyone – but, fortunately, everyone was ok with that! It was a cold, blustery day (like so many this spring have seemed to be) but the wedding was beautiful. It included three readings, one of which explained how falling in love is like owning a dog – very cute and… very true! So, despite my illness, and Mother Nature’s blustery attitude, a wonderful wedding went off without a hitch! Best Wishes Lauren & Don!

Harris’ Pelham Inn

Just getting back from being out, but wanted to write about the wedding I performed at Pelham Inn on Saturday, April 18th. There was a big wedding party – 16 including the bride and groom. The weather sort of stole the show. The skies were threatening, and about 3/4 of the way through the ceremony, it began to rain. I’ve had that happen a few times in weddings I’ve done, and the key is to move the ceremony along faster, without making it seemed rushed – a very fine line – but I think I pulled it off since a lot of people including the most important people (the bride and groom) commented on how wonderful the ceremony was. Congratulations Brian & Gabby!

Castleton, Windham, NH

Started the Spring wedding season on Saturday with a ceremony at a great place to begin – the Castleton in Windham. It was a blustery, cool morning, and the ice was still on the pond, but the warmth from the couple’s love kept things heated up! We provided the voice amplification for a relatively large crowd. Wanted to send a special shout out to Ashley the coordinator who was very helpful and my old friend and colleague, Ernie Osborne, who provided the photography. And of course, wanted to mention my wife Cathy, who sets up and runs the mics! Proof again, as I often say, that if you have professional & skilled wedding vendors, you’re ceremony will be a great one! Congrats to Elise & James!

NHJPA Meeting

Attended the annual meeting of the New Hampshire Justice of the Peace Association. We shared lots of great information and a good time was had by all!

Hampton Beach

Married a couple at the beach on Saturday. It was a bit cold, and the snow was piled high, but the couple’s love was enough to keep things warm! We had a few onlookers, and one videoed the proceedings with her phone, to be sent to the couple later. All in all, a wonderful ceremony! Congrats Paul & Susan!
