Presided over a Lite Spiritual Wedding Ceremony for a nice couple at the Stone Church on Wednesday afternoon. The ceremony was really quite unique as the groom (a professional musician) played the Wedding March on his drum set as the bride was escorted down the aisle by her two daughters. The ceremony took place outside near the patio, and the area was nicely decorated by the family prior to the bride’s march. Congratulations Mark & Vicki!

Three Chimneys Inn, Durham, NH
Performed a Custom Christian Themed Wedding Ceremony for a fantastic couple at the Inn on Saturday afternoon. The ceremony featured a Unity Tree Ceremony, where the Bride and Groom’s moms participated by adding soil to a pot that the bridal couple used to ceremonially plant their unity tree. As they planted the tree this reading, called ‘Tree of Love’ by Sandra E. McBride, was performed:
“From the seed of this day let their love grow as the tree grows. Reaching down, to build strong roots. Reaching out to provide comfort and sustenance. Reaching up, to seek the grace of God. Let their love grow as the tree grows. Deeper, wider, stronger with each passing year.”
The weather was beautiful for the ceremony which was coordinated perfectly, as usual, by the wedding coordinator Kelsey. Colors were dusty blue and gold. All the Best Michael & Justina!

Nubble Lighthouse, York, Maine
Presided as Minister for a Classic Spiritual Ceremony with custom vows for a great couple at the Light this past Sunday morning. Although it was supposed to be a hot day, it was comfortably cool courtesy of the Maine sea breezes providing heat relief. About 20 were in attendance. The Nubble Light has a few larger rocks that the bridal couple and I can step out onto for the ceremony while the guests stay closer to the “mainland.” And that was the case on Sunday as we found the perfect boulder for the couple, their children, and me to stand on for the ceremony. One tip… If you’re thinking of getting married at Nubble Light in summer, the parking can be difficult. What my couple did was make reservations at Fox’s Lobster House restaurant (located right next to Nubble’s public parking area) for immediately after the ceremony. They were then able to use the restaurant’s parking lot and avoid the parking headaches for themselves and their guests. All the best Doug & Michelle!
