Three Chimneys Inn

It was a magnificent day for a late morning wedding on Sunday. Sunny, low humidity, in the 70’s. The lower garden at the Inn was unbelievably beautiful and lush, filled with trees, plants and flowers. And the wedding was superb! Best Wishes to Sarah & Chris!

Henry Law Park, Dover

What a great ceremony here on Saturday! It included a coin sharing and a veil ritual. We also provided the voice amplification, as we were outside with close to 140 guests. This was a ceremony that we coordinated, starting with the rehearsal, right on up to the last members of the bridal party recessing down the aisle. Best Wishes to Carolyn & Jim!

Great Island Common

Married a couple at Great Island Common in New Castle on Saturday. It turned out to be a nice day, despite the threat of showers. Originally, the couple had considered Hampton beach for their ceremony, but they were worried about traffic and crowds, so I recommended Great Island Common, and they fell in love with the place. So, congratulations Kara & Jim!

Jenness Beach

Performed a marriage on the beach at 9 in the evening. Needed help from a cell phone light to read the ceremony words! It was a misty, drizzly evening, but the couple had a small tent set up, and that saved the day (or should I say “night!”) Congrats Lynda & John!

Gary & Donna

Great Island Common in New Castle was the site of my latest ceremony yesterday (Monday). The weather was great although, as is often the case at the coast, it was a bit breezy. This made it difficult for their candle lighting ceremony, so the couple decided to do it at the restaurant later. Best to Gary & Donna!

Rachel & John

Performed a Jewish themed ceremony at Three Chimneys Inn, Durham, NH on Saturday. This ceremony featured a toast, a ring warming, a couple of great readings and, of course, the traditional breaking of the glass. Best Wishes John & Rachel!

Travys & Marie

Performed a great little ceremony at a home in Raymond on Saturday. Colors were pink and black, and I wore a tie and jacket to match – yes, it was the TIE that was pink. Congrats Travys & Marie!

Ryan & Camila

Performed a ceremony for an already married couple at Rye Harbor State Park this past Saturday. The rehearsal was the day before at Fox’s Lobster House in York, ME. Actually, the rehearsal was schedule to be outside at Nubble Lighthouse, but the weather didn’t cooperate. Fortunately, the weather for their ceremony on Saturday was gorgeous! I’ve noticed that to be a developing pattern this wedding season – inclement weather for the rehearsal but beautiful weather for the ceremony. It beats the reverse (beautiful for the rehearsal, bad for the ceremony), but still, I’m hoping we get out of that pattern and begin the be able to hold our rehearsals outside in more pleasant weather. In any case – congratulations and best of luck to Ryan and Camila!
